Ina Williams Vann died on Feburary 1st in 1969 at the age of 79. She was our paternal great grand mother and the mother of Viola Vann Wainright.
What I remember the clearest was that she chewed tobacco and would spit it in a can she held by her seat. I believe this was common practice for her for she grew up in Science Hill Pulaski Co Kentucky. This habit was to her demise for she died at 79 from throat cancer.
